Today will explore just a little the teachings of carlos Castabeda and Don Juan in summary.
In the work of Carlos Castaneda, Don Juan Matus , a Yaqui sorcerer, teaches his disciple, Castaneda, a vision of the world very different from the one that has been instilled in us in Western society. For Don Juan, reality is not a fixed and objective thing, but a subjective construction that depends on our way of perceiving it.
The world of everyday life
The reality that surrounds us in everyday life is what we call "the ordinary world" . This world is the one that seems real to us, the one that we believe is the only one that exists. However, for Don Juan, the ordinary world is just a description, an interpretation of reality.
The description of the ordinary world
The description of the ordinary world is made up of a series of beliefs and expectations that we share with other members of our society. These beliefs and expectations allow us to perceive the world in a certain way,and limit us to seeing only what we believe is real.
The non-ordinary reality
Beyond the ordinary world, there exists another reality, which Don Juan calls "the non-ordinary reality." This reality is much broader and more complex than the ordinary world, and contains a large number of things that we cannot perceive with ordinary senses.
How to access non-ordinary reality
To access non-ordinary reality, it is necessary to break with the description of the ordinary world. This can be done through a number of spiritual practices, such as using psychedelic plants, meditation, or dream work .
The Teachings of Don Juan
Don Juan teaches Castaneda a series of teachings that allow him to access non-ordinary reality. These teachings include:
The art of stilling: The first step to accessing non-ordinary reality is learning to still the mind and body. This can be achieved through meditation, yoga, or other stillness practices.
The art of attention: Once we have learned to become still, we must learn to pay attention to reality in a new way. This means being present in the present moment, without judging or interpreting what we perceive.
The Art of Flawlessness: Flawlessness is the ability to live in accordance with our values, no matter the circumstances. This is essential to be able to access non-ordinary reality, as it allows us to be free from the limitations of the mind and ego.
Conclusions
The vision of reality that Don Juan offers us is a radical perspective that leads us to question everything we think we know about the world. If we are willing to open ourselves to this new vision, we can experience a much broader and enriching reality.
Some reflections
Don Juan's teachings offer us a series of interesting reflections on reality. Among them, we can highlight the following:
Reality is not a fixed thing, but a subjective construction.
The ordinary world is just a description, an interpretation of reality.
There is another reality, broader and more complex than the ordinary world.
To access non-ordinary reality, it is necessary to break with the description of the ordinary world.
These reflections invite us to question our own vision of reality. Are we really seeing the world as it is, or are we simply seeing what we believe is real? Are we open to the possibility that another reality exists, beyond the one we perceive with the ordinary senses?
Don Juan's teachings can be a starting point to explore these questions and find our own answers.
"Knowledge is power."
Deeper Dive
About: Reality
Don Juan teaches that the reality we experience is a projection of our own mind. What we see in the world is a reflection of our own thoughts, feelings and beliefs.
Don Juan calls this "perception." Perception is the way we interpret the world around us .
Don Juan teaches that perception is subjective. There is no objective reality that is independent of our experience. What we see in the world is simply our interpretation of reality.
About: The self
Don Juan teaches that the self is an illusion. The self is a mental construction that separates us from the world around us.
Don Juan calls the self "the tonal one." The tonal is the mask we use to face the world.
Don Juan teaches that the self is an obstacle to knowledge. The self prevents us from seeing reality as it is.
About: The Way of the Warrior
The path of the warrior is a path of freedom. It is a path that leads us to awaken from the illusion of everyday reality and experience the world in a deeper and more real way.
Don Juan teaches that the warrior is one who is willing to challenge the beliefs and limits that society imposes on him. He is the one who is willing to take risks and explore new territories.
The path of the warrior is a path of learning. The warrior is constantly learning and growing. He is learning about himself, about the world, and about the nature of reality.
The path of the warrior is a path of humility. The warrior knows that he knows nothing. He is open to learning from others and from his own experiences.
The path of the warrior is a path of love. The warrior loves life and loves all living beings.
The four enemies of the warrior
The path of the warrior is a difficult path. There are four enemies that lie in wait for us on the way:
Fear: Fear is the most powerful enemy. It prevents us from taking risks and exploring new territories.
Clarity: Clarity is the illusion that we know what is happening. It prevents us from seeing reality as it is.
Power: Power is the temptation to use our knowledge to control others. It leads us to corruption and destruction.
Old age: Old age is the loss of energy and vitality. It leads us to resignation and death.
How to overcome the warrior's enemies
To overcome the warrior's enemies, we must learn to see them and confront them. We cannot escape from them. We must learn to embrace them and use them as opportunities to grow.
Fear: We can overcome fear by facing it. We can expose ourselves to situations that scare us and learn to handle them.
Clarity: We can overcome clarity by learning to see reality as it is. We can learn to be present in the moment and let go of our judgments and beliefs.
Power: We can overcome power by learning to use it for good. We can learn to serve others and use our knowledge to create a better world.
Old age: We can overcome old age by learning to live each moment to the fullest. We can learn to enjoy life and accept death as part of the natural cycle.
Don Juan's teachings are profound and challenging. They invite us to question our beliefs about reality, the self and the path of life.
The path of the warrior is a difficult path, but it is also a path of transformation. It is a path that leads us to become more complete and more conscious beings .
The Path of the Nagual: Non-Ordinary Reality
Nonordinary reality is a concept that has been explored by many cultures throughout history. In Mexican shamanism , non-ordinary reality is often known as the spirit world or the dream world . It is a place where people can access knowledge and powers that are not available in ordinary reality.

Chaman 4 Part 2. Below
Carlos Castaneda was a Peruvian nationalized American anthropologist and writer, author of a series of books that would describe his training in a peculiar type of traditional Mesoamerican naturalism called nahualism. Within Mesoamerican beliefs, the nahual is a type of witch or supernatural being who has the ability to take animal form and perform acts of witchcraft. Early years According to his own statements, he was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil in 1935, where in 1948, his family moved to Lima, Peru, where he says he was sent to a boarding school in Buenos Aires and later to San Francisco, California at the age of 15. where he lived with his adoptive family. In 1951 he emigrated to Los Angeles, California to study anthropology at the University of California (UCLA), where he graduated in 1962. The teachings of Don Juan
In 1968 he published his first book “The Teachings of Don Juan”, with which he obtained a master's degree, and in 1973 he was awarded a doctorate for his book Viaje a Ixtlán. The central axis of his books are based on his supposed experiences with the Yaqui Indian Juan Matus, who he says has ancient knowledge of which Castaneda became spokesperson and apprentice from 1960 to 1973. In his first two books, Castaneda focuses his story on presenting the peculiarities of peyote (a cactus that grows in the desert regions of northern Mexico, which has psychoactive substances, including mescaline). In his story, the witch Juan Matus called peyote “Mescalito”, and according to his stories, he considers it to be his protector. The story says that the sorcerer introduces Castañeda to the process of introducing him to the use of peyote in what Castaneda would call states of heightened consciousness. In the mid-60s, Timothy Leary had caused a scandal by distributing LSD among university students to achieve altered states of consciousness and by then, Ronald Reagan, who was governor of California, prohibited its consumption. It is said that a talent scout from the publisher Simon&Schuster discovered “The Teachings of Don Juan” and the publishing empire bought the rights, making Castaneda a bestseller.
Controversies Their works have been strongly questioned, arguing that their stories are not verifiable, and do not correspond to Yaqui traditions. Likewise, it is stated that the dates of some of his stories do not correspond to the dates on which he was in Mexico. Other criticisms to which inconsistencies are attributed are the lack of recordings and field notes, which allow Castaneda's anthropological works to be referred to as verifiable. Due to the above, doubt is raised about the veracity of his writings (not even the existence of Juan Matus, the supposed witch, is verifiable), and the responsibility of UCLA, who apparently never issued any statement about Castañeda's work, is cast into doubt. Death Carlos Castaneda died of cancer in 1998 and after his death he was the subject of much criticism. Many stories emerged that speak of a charlatan who left a fortune from his followers and courses of his so-called “transegrity.” Transegrity was a kind of martial art that he called energy passes, and forced his followers to break ties with their families, to remain celibate and reject motherhood in the name of Don Juan, whom he referred to as if he were a messiah.

The shaman's role is to show you that you have stepped in poop, since you don't see your feet, and then there is your reaction to that. Some feel that the shaman has been harsh in showing the evidence, others deny it and others are grateful for being shown what they could not see for themselves. Although in all cases, the stench of poop is evident in their lives. After the shaman speaks to you, you can choose, leave sulking because they have seen your poop, continue your life with it in your shoes or allow the shaman to accompany you in cleaning your feet and I assure you that he will do it with all his might. the delicacy of his hands and tenderness of heart possible. It's just mental poop, it can be cleaned. Jordi Lopez

The foundations of shamanism
Shamanism is based on the belief that everything in the universe is interconnected, and that humans can communicate and collaborate with nature spirits and ancestors. The shaman is the bridge between the visible and invisible realms, and is considered an intermediary between the community and spiritual forces.
Shamanic practices Shamanic practices can vary widely by culture and region. However, some common techniques include rituals, chanting, dancing, using sacred plants, and spiritual journeying. Spiritual journeying is a central practice in shamanism, in which the shaman enters a state of trance or ecstasy to access other planes of existence and receive spiritual guidance.
Shamanism and healing One of the most notable aspects of shamanism is its focus on healing. Shamans are considered spiritual and physical healers, and use their skills to help people find balance and well-being. Through connecting with spirits and using specific techniques, shamans can detect and treat illnesses, energy imbalances, and emotional problems.
The importance of nature and the connection with the elements In shamanism, nature plays a fundamental role. Shamans recognize the wisdom and strength of natural elements, such as fire, water, air and earth. Connection and respect for nature are essential for shamanism, since it is believed that harmony with the natural environment strengthens the relationship with the spirits and the well-being of the community.

The total crisis of the future shaman, sometimes leading to complete disintegration of the personality and to madness, can be valued not only as an initiatory death but also as a symbolic return to the precosmogonic chaos, to the amorphous and indescribable state that precedes any cosmogony Mircea Eliade cited by Jordan Peterson s/f .

👉🏽Anything you repress causes guilt; everything you do not allow causes guilt; Everything that is against nature causes guilt. Then, you feel guilty for having lied to others and to yourself. Lack of authenticity is guilt.
💥You ask: "Are fear and guilt the same thing?" No. Fear may be guilt, but it may not be. It depends on what you do with the fear. If you do something that is not right, it becomes guilt. If you accept it and do nothing—there is nothing to do!—it becomes freedom, it becomes absence of fear.
❤️Don't tell yourself that you are horrible, bad, a sinner. Don't condemn yourself. You are what you are. Don't be guilty, don't feel guilty. Even if something is wrong, you are not wrong. Maybe you have acted in a wrong way, but that does not mean that you are wrong. There may be a wrong action, but the being is always right.
