Hawaiian Lomi Lomi

Hawaiian Bodywork more commonly known as Lomi Lomi Massage is a traditional healing ritual originally performed by Ka Hunas- Hawaiian healers. The practitioner includes hands, forearms and elbows to apply pressure, from soft touch to deep tissue, while moving around the table in a meditative manner. Different flows and strokes attune with the needs and rhythms of the clients body, mind and soul creating a personalised session, therefore sessions can vary from lively and energetic to calm and caring. The back and the front oft the body are treated using oil, a sarong is used for draping.

The session is guided by your inner intention which will unfold in a supportive and loving space. Arrive within yourself and come to stillness. You are invited to let go and enjoy a comforting space to relax. You may travel your own personal journey. Let emotions flow through and simply observe. You may feel deep emotions coming up to the surface or just experience joy and easyness. In the spirit of Aloha concentrate on breathing as every in breath is a chance to connect with the present moment and inhale positive, fresh energy and every outbreath cleanses from the old and uncalled- for.

Bodywork is based upon the philosophy of every experience being physical in its origin. Stress on any level manifests in tense muscles and may cause more complex blockages. I will ask you to briefly describe your physical, emotional and mental health to then work with your body and its memory. Joint relief, stress relief and experiencing your body as one are some of the beautiful effects.

"Aloha is being a part of all, and all being a part of me. When there is pain - it is my pain. When there is joy - it is also mine. I respect all that is as part of the Creator and part of me. I will not willfully harm anyone or anything. When food is needed I will take only my need and explain why it is being taken. The earth, the sky, the sea are mine to care for, to cherish and to protect. This is Hawaiian - this is Aloha! "
